TOUR INFORMATION

2. ELIGIBILITY

All Golf Pros who like to play for money.

3. TYPE OF EVENTS

All events will be 54 holes stroke play. A Pro/ Am will be played after the event (4 or 5 rounds of golf). 1 Practice round - 3 Days Tournament - 1 Day Pro-Am Pros selected for the Pro/Am need to play.

4. CONDITIONS OF PLAY

Play shall be in accordance with the Rules of Golf published by R&A Limited and the Conditions of Competition and Local Rules.

The specimen conditions in the Rules of Golf are in effect as regards Driving Clubs, Conforming Golf Balls, One Ball Condition and Time of Starting.

Pros play off white tee markers and the Senior Pros play off yellow tee markers.

In the event of a tie after 54 holes the player with the lowest score of the last round will win.

5. PRO-AM`S

Professionals or Proettes selected for Pro-Ams are required to play as a condition of entry and need to stay for the prize giving.

6. ENTRY FEE

• The entry fee for each event is 350€ for Division A and 150€ for Division B and covers match fee, driving range, and practise round. All Sponsor money will go primarily towards the Division A to increase the prize fund.

• Entries for each tournament close at 18.00 hrs. 7 days prior to the first tournament day.

• Entries can be made at www.golfopentour.com under Registration (see home page).

Entry fees need to be in the following bank account not later than the deadline before each tournament (at 12.00 hrs. 7 days prior to the first tournament day):

7. REGISTRATION / CONFIRMATION

Players are obliged to confirm their entries by 18.00 hrs (local time), no later than one (1) day prior to the first tournament day.

• Players not confirmed at a specified date and time, will be removed from the entry list without further warning.
• Registration and confirmation can only be done on the internet.
• Players need to be aware that registration requires payment per bank transfer of entry fee. Please see bank details on Registration form or above under point 6. Entry fee.
• Registration is accepted on a first come first served basis until maximum field size is reached.

8. RESERVES

• When registration has closed by 18.00 hrs 7 days prior to a tournament, players on reserve should be reachable on their telephone between 18.00-23.00 hrs.
• If a player does not answer, the tour office holds the right to contact the next player on standby.

9. TEE TIMES

Tee-Off times will normally be announced one day before the first round of the tournament at the Pro-shop or Caddy Master or under (0034) 630794369 until 18.00 hrs.

10. PRIZE MONEY

The following amounts are guaranteed. Additional Sponsor monies will be added and announced before each tournament.

Always one third of the field will get paid.

TAXES
Prize Money will be subject to Spanish tax, 24 % for non residents (unless tax documentation of home country is supplied) and 15% for Spanish residents.

11. WITHDRAW

· Any player withdrawing from an event after closing date of entry will loose the entry fee.

· Any player failing to attend a tournament will loose the entry fee and may be subject to a €100 fine.

12. PLAYERS CONDUCT

Any player guilty of inappropriate and unprofessional behaviour will have to face disciplinary action from the Tour. This may result in fines and/or suspension. Any complaints shall be addressed to the tournaments director only.
Improper behaviour on the course will incur a fine of minimum €100.

13. MOBILES PHONES & GPS and LASER DEVICES

The use of mobile phones is prohibited during tournament play and the mobile phone policy of the host venue must be adhered to. The use of GPS and laser devices are permitted during all rounds.
NOTICE - Devices with slope and height measures are NOT permitted.

14. SCORECARDS

Immediately after the round is completed, the score cards must be returned at the recording area. If a score card is not returned within 30 minutes after the completion of the round the player will be disqualified.

15. RESULTS

After each round the results will be available in the Pro-shop or Caddy Master or under (0034) 630794369 until 18.00 hrs.

16. PRIZE CEREMONY

The 3 best players have to attend the prize giving ceremony.
The 3 best players shall also be available for an eventual press conference. Non-compliance with this regulation will incur a fine of no less than 500€.

ALL ENTRIES WILL BE SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE ORGANISATION OF THE GOLF OPEN TOUR WHICH RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ACCEPT OR REFUSE OR, HAVING ACCEPTED, SUBSEQUENTLY REJECT ANY ENTRY WITHOUT GIVING REASON FOR ITS DECISION.

THE ORGANISATION OF THE GOLF OPEN TOUR RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE OR AMEND ANY OF THE ABOVE CONDITIONS.
